Jones, Attorney representing VSB Company, previously was granted a <br />revocable permit for a drainage easement on property near Lake Speight. Mr. Jones was told <br />by the Virginia Department of Highways that a revocable provision in the permit would hinder <br />the proposed plat to be put to record!and would not be accepted to the State of Virginia <br />road system. <br /> <br /> The Council unanimously agreed that the company engineers to meet with the City Manager <br />and he furnish a report to the City Council at a future meeting. <br /> <br /> 77-56 - Mo~ion of Mr. Holley and seconded by Mr. Elliott to go into the election of <br />members to the following Boards and Commissions, was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Mr. Holley nominated the following: <br /> <br /> Housing Board of Adjustments & Appeals <br /> <br /> Rev. Emory E. Byrum to be reappointed for a term of three years, <br />1980; James L. Smith, Jr. to be appointed for a term of three years, <br />replacing C. S. Stublen, Jr. <br /> <br /> James River Basin Advisory Committee <br /> <br /> J. A. Howell,Jr. to be appointed (no term) replacing P. J. Brady. <br /> <br /> Southeastern Public Service Authority of Virginia <br /> <br /> J. A. Howell, Jr. to be appointed as an alternate (no term) replacing P. J. B~ady. <br /> Emergency Medical Services Advisory Commission <br /> <br /> Mrs. Pansy L. Reed to be appointed for an unexpired term, expiring July 31, 1979 <br />replacing Mrs. Helen Zemienieuski.
