<br /> 77-373 - Public Hearing on proposed zoning district changes, a use permit application
<br />and changes in the text of the Zoning Ordinance:

<br />The following citizens spoke:

<br />Rev. Samuel L. Carruth, Pastor of Holy Light Church, stated the need for the change
<br />in zoning that the church may expand to reach more people(youth).
<br />Dan Griffin, Architect, presented drawings of the proposed plans for the Church
<br />which included a dining hall, bowling alley, library and classrooms.
<br />
<br /> On motion of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the following ordinance was approved
<br />on first reading, and by unanimous vote:

<br /> On motion of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. Barnes, the following ordinance was approved
<br />on first reading, and by unanimous vote:

<br /> On motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Oast, that:UP 77-6 to be approved on first
<br />reading, and was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />(f) POSSIBLE AMENDMENT OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE: "OFF STREET AUTOMOBILE PARKING" - by the
<br /> Director of City Planning.
<br />

<br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Elliott, to concur in the recommendation of the
<br />Planning Commission, to be approved on first reading, and was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />(g) PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE: "WATERFRONT W-1 DISTRICT DIMENSIONAL
<br /> REQUIREMENTS" - by the Director of City Planning.

<br /> MotiOn of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Elliott, to concur in the recommendation of the
<br />Planning Commission, to be approved on first reading, and was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />(h) PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE: "COMMERCIAL C-3 DIMENSIONAl,
<br /> REQUIREMENTS"- by ~he Director of City Planning.

<br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Oast, to concur in the recommendation of the
<br />Planning Commission, to be approved on first reading, and was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br /> 77-374 - ~otion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Elliott, that the Council meet in an
<br />executive session immediately following the Public Hearing on Zoning matters, this date, for
<br />the purpose of discussing the fallowing items, and was adopted by the following vote:
