ORDINANCE NO. 2026-66 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING WITH APPRECIATION THE DONATION BY <br />THE HAMPTON ROADS PLANNING DISTRICT COMMISSION OF A <br />DISASTER MEDICAL SUPPORT UNIT FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts with appreciation the donation by the Hampton Roads <br />Planning District Commission of a Disaster Medical Support Unit. <br />2. That the Disaster Medical Support Unit shall be used by the Department of <br />Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services. <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 14, 2026. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
