(bb) Install and maintain digital video equipment complying with <br />Section 40.2-217(G)(5)(b)(vi); <br />(cc) Restrict outdoor amplified sound after 10:00 P.M.; and <br />(dd) Ensure adequate exterior lighting for entrances, exits, and <br />parking areas. <br />(ii) A restaurant that seeks to host entertainment of a nature requiring <br />an entertainment establishment use permit under this ordinance <br />shall be required to obtain said permit. A restaurant that seeks to <br />host entertainment of a nature that does not require an <br />entertainment establishment use permit under this ordinance shall <br />comply with all standards applicable to the entertainment <br />establishment use under Section 40.2-217(G)(5)(b). <br />(iii) Restaurants that exceed two verified police responses related to <br />disorderly conduct, fights, or alcohol-related offenses at or in <br />direct connection to the establishment within a twelve-month <br />period may be subject to zoning permit revocation pursuant to <br />Section 40.2-555. <br />(iv) The provisions of this subsection do not apply to restaurants <br />operating within a casino gaming establishment. <br />(4) Parking, Commercial. <br />(5) Recreation/Entertainment, Indoor. <br />(a) Commercial Indoor Amusement. In addition to general requirements, no <br />commercial indoor amusement use shall include activities that are illegal <br />under or not operated in compliance with Article I of Ch. 8 of Title 18.2 <br />of the Code of Virginia. <br />(b) Entertainment Establishment (Indoor or Outdoor). In addition to <br />general requirements, entertainment establishments shall comply with <br />the following standards. <br />(i) Entertainment establishments shall not create unreasonable <br />environmental aspects such as noise, odor, smoke, vibration, heat, <br />or glare. <br />(ii) Noise from the establishment shall comply with City Code Sec. <br />24-255 Unlawful Excessive Sound. <br />(iii) Any building housing live entertainment shall include soundproof <br />entryway and exit doors. <br />(iv) Live entertainment shall only be permitted indoors. <br />4 <br />
