ORDINANCE NO. 2025-52 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $625,000 FROM THE FUND BALANCE OF <br />THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICE FUND TO THE FY 2026 <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICE FUND BUDGET FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF ACQUIRING BUSINESS SOFTWARE AND OFFICE TECHNOLOGIES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it appropriates $625,000 from the Fund Balance of the Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund to the FY 2026 Behavioral Healthcare Service Fund Budget. <br />2. That the funds shall be used for the purpose of acquiring business software <br />and office technologies and for renovating BHS office space. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2026 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund Budget are increased by $625,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 8, 2025. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
