K-9 Corps <br />Any sworn officer of the Police Department assigned to the K-9 Corps shall be allowed <br />an hour's pay per day for canine care and maintenance. This time will be reflected as <br />hours worked and be paid at the officer's hourly rate. On working days these duties will <br />be performed within the scheduled hours. When the canine is housed at the canine <br />facility, the officer will receive no compensation for those days. <br />International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) Designations <br />The following pay incentives are provided for professional staff of the City Assessor's <br />Office in addition to the pay structure in the current pay plan; <br />1. A one-time pay allowance equal to 3% of the employee's current annual pay <br />rate upon obtaining the initial Assessment Administrative Specialist (IAAO) <br />designation. <br />2. A one-time pay allowance equal to 5% of the employee's current annual pay <br />rate upon obtaining the initial Residential Evaluation Specialist (IAAO/SRA) <br />designation. <br />3. A one-time pay allowance equal to 5% of the employee's current annual pay <br />rate upon obtaining the initial Certified Assessment Evaluation (IAAO/MAI) <br />designation. Employees who have previously received the 5% allowance for <br />the Residential Evaluation Specialist designation shall receive an additional <br />increase of 5%, for a total of 10%. <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services Designations <br />The following pay incentive is provided for professional staff (below the level of Assistant <br />Director) whose position descriptions require a license. License eligible employees will <br />receive a one-time pay allowance, upon completion of their initial licensure, equal to 5% <br />of current annual salary upon the verified obtainment of any of the following licenses: <br />• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) <br />• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) <br />• Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) <br />• Licensed Substance Abuse Professional <br />Obtainment of these certifications will enable the department to bill insurance companies <br />for services provided to clients and meets the standards of care required by the state. <br />Engineering and Public Utilities Certifications <br />The following pay incentive is provided for indicated engineering professional staff whose <br />position descriptions require a High -Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Fusion Inspection <br />Program Certification.
