ORDINANCE NO. 2024-130 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING WITH APPRECIATION THE DONATION OF A <br />SURVEILLANCE TRAILER BY THE ELIZABETH RIVER PROJECT TO THE <br />PORTSMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That the City accepts with appreciation the donation of an IVC Light Weight <br />Surveillance Trailer Base Part #MVT-3002 with an AXIS Q6318 -LE PTZ camera, a Q6100 -E <br />360° camera, a Cradlepoint R920 router, and a Parsec Doberman antenna (the "Equipment") by <br />The Elizabeth River Project to the Portsmouth Police Department. <br />2. That the Police Department shall house the Equipment in or about the Paradise <br />Creek Nature Park except in cases of emergency. <br />3. That the City Manager is authorized to execute a Memorandum of Agreement with <br />The Elizabeth River Project and any other documentation necessary or advisable to transfer title <br />to the Equipment to the City. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on <br />November 26, 2024. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
