R-23-53 <br />A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE 2024 CALENDAR OF CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETINGS. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for theCity of Portsmouth, Virginia, desires to set <br />forth its intentions to conduct its regular meetings at a time and date set forth herein for the <br />calendar year 2024; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, desires to set <br />forth its intentions to conduct its public work sessions and additional scheduled meetings at <br />such times and dates set forth herein for the calendar year 2024; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, desires to <br />provide for the public advance notice of its intentions to conduct its public meetings in the <br />Council Chamber at 801 Crawford Street, 6`h Floor, Portsmouth, Virginia unless otherwise <br />designated or provided for in a special call or notice subsequently issued for the benefit of its <br />citizenry and open government. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that it hereby adopts the Portsmouth City Council 2024 Calendar of City <br />Council Meetings in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />December 12, 2023. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
