O E NL 31 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE VALUE OF USDA DONATED <br />COMMODITIES IN THE AMOUNT OF $450,000 TO THE FY 2022 <br />PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOOD SERVICES FUND BUDGET. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it appropriates the value of USDA donated commodities in the <br />amount of $450,000 into the FY 2022 Food Services Fund Budget for the Portsmouth <br />Public Schools. <br />2. That the source of the appropriation is the value of free agricultural <br />products for use in the preparation of school lunches received under the USDA Donated <br />Commodity Program. <br />3. That the estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2022 Portsmouth <br />Public Schools Food Services Fund Budget are increased by $450,000. <br />4. That the revised funding appropriation for the FY 2022 Portsmouth Public <br />Schools Food Services Fund Budget is as shown on Exhibit A hereto. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on April 12, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
