2022 -118 <br />AINAACf <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING STEP -VA FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$227,308 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH <br />AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT <br />IN THE FY 2023 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICE FUND FOR <br />MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts STEP -VA funding in the amount of $227,308 from <br />the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and <br />appropriates said funds in the FY 2023 Behavioral Healthcare Service Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services for case management, care coordination, psychiatric rehabilitation, and other <br />eligible services. <br />3. That no additional local funding is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund are increased by $227,308. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on December 13, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
