t <br />2022 -M116 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING ASSERTIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT <br />PROGRAM FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $750,000 FROM THE VIRGINIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL <br />SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2023 <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICE FUND TO PROVIDE <br />COMPREHENSIVE MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE USE SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Assertive Community Treatment Program funding <br />in the amount of $750,000 from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and <br />Developmental Services and appropriates said funds in the FY 2023 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services to provide comprehensive mental health and substance use services to <br />individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness, substance use, or co- occurring <br />disorders. <br />That no additional local funding is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund are increased by $750,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on December 13, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
