�x 202,x-73 <br />tva <br />�. <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING A BUDGETARY FUND CALLED THE <br />PORTSMOUTH BROADBAND AUTHORITY FUND AND APPROPRIATING <br />THE SUM OF $50,000 FROM THE FUND BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND <br />AND TRANSFERRING SAID FUNDS TO THE FY 2023 PORTSMOUTH <br />BROADBAND AUTHORITY FUND BUDGET. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby creates a new Budgetary Fund called the Portsmouth <br />Broadband Authority Fund. <br />2. That it appropriates and transfers the sum of $50,000 from the Fund <br />Balance of the General Fund to the FY 2023 Portsmouth Broadband Authority Fund <br />Budget. <br />3. That the purpose of the appropriation is to provide funding for the costs of <br />the Portsmouth Community Broadband Network Authority. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Portsmouth <br />Broadband Authority Fund Budget are increased by $50,000, and that estimated revenues <br />and expenditures in the FY 2023 General Fund Budget are increased by $50,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 13, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
