osnIRAW 30 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FY 2022 -2026 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND APPROPRIATING $25,296,500 IN THE FY 2022 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND. WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to the City Council the Capital Improvement Program for FY 2022 through 2026 and the funding for Year One of the Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held to receive public comments on the five -year Capital Improvement Program and on funding for Year One of the Capital Improvement Program. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. The estimated revenues and revenue contributions and the appropriation of funds to finance the Capital Improvement budgets of and for the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, for the period beginning July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022, be, and the same hereby are, as follows: State Categorical Aid $69,500 State Funding — VDOT 4,467,000 Charges for Services 35,000 Operating Transfers In 7,150,000 Bond Proceeds 13,575,000 Total Capital Improvement Fund Revenues $25,296,500 2. That the five -year FY 2022 -2026 Capital Improvement Program is hereby approved with fiscal years 2023 through 2026 being non - appropriated subsequent planning years. 3. That the sum of $25,296,500 in the FY 2022 Capital Improvement Fund be, and the same hereby are, appropriated for expenditure in the following categories and amounts to implement the FY 2022 -2026 Capital Improvement Program: Drainage and Street Improvements $14,617,000 Education Leisure Services 1,075,000 Industrial and Economic Development 0 Municipal Facilities 7,604,500 Fleet Management 2,000,000 Capital Improvement Fund Total $25,296,500 4.
