EXHIBIT A Appendix A of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) is amended as follows. Portions of Appendix A not shown below are not hereby amended. CHAPTER 38. WATER, SEWERS AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL Code Description Section 38 -83 Meter rates for water supplied For all water that passes through meters, customers within the corporate limits of the city shall pay 4.71 per 100 cubic feet of water supplied during the period from July 1, 2021 @ 38- through June 30, 2022; (@ 83(a) and (=34 annual increases of five percent over the rate in effect at the end of the prior fiscal year beginning July 1, 2424= 2022, and each July 1 thereafter, until amended. For all water which passes through meters, customers of the City of Chesapeake who are served by Portsmouth and whose rates are not set by contract shall pay 7.07 per 100 38 cubic feet of water supplied during the period from 412 July 1, 2021 83(b) through June 30, 2022; , 19 2021 through june and (� annual increases of five percent over the rate in effect at the end of the prior fiscal year beginning July 1, 2424 2022, and each July 1 thereafter, until amended.
