URL/K M NO._ 2 02,1 19 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING PROJECT LIFESAVER GRANT FUNDING IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $6,000 FROM THE ALZHEIMER'S FOUNDATION OF <br />AMERICA AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2021 GRANTS <br />FUND FOR USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH SHERIFF'S OFFICE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Project Lifesaver grant funding in the amount of <br />$6,000 from the Alzheimer's Foundation of America and appropriates said amount in the <br />FY 2021 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Sheriff's Office for the Project <br />Lifesaver Program. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2021 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $6,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at an electronic <br />meeting held on April 13, 2021. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
