R -21 -33 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF EASEMENTS TO THE <br />HAMPTON ROADS SANITATION DISTRICT ENCUMBERING PROPERTY <br />LOCATED IN SUFFOLK. <br />WHEREAS, the Hampton Roads Sanitation District has requested easements (the <br />"Easements ") across certain properties owned by the City of Portsmouth and located in Suffolk, <br />the said properties having Suffolk Tax Parcel designations of 35D *X8 and 35D *XX; and <br />WHEREAS, the Easements are more particularly shown and described on that certain <br />"Plat Showing 30' Permanent HRSD Utility Easement" and that certain "Plat Showing 30' <br />Permanent Utility Easement, Proposed 20' Permanent Ingress/Egress Easement, and Proposed <br />Temporary Construction Easement ", each prepared by Rouse - Sirine Associates, Ltd., dated <br />November 10, 2020, and attached hereto as Exhibits A -1 and A -2 (the "Plats "); and <br />WHEREAS, the Easements are in furtherance of the replacement of a pump station for <br />the City of Suffolk; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia that it approves and authorizes the grant of the Easements substantially as shown on the <br />Plats to the Hampton Roads Sanitation District, and that the City Manager is authorized to <br />execute such documents or instruments as may be necessary or desirable in furtherance of the <br />intent of this Resolution. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on <br />October 26, 2021. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
