anonw�n�7 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FY 2021 -2025 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM AND APPROPRIATING $24,987,313 IN THE FY 2021 CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT FUND AND $100,000 IN THE FY 2021 PARKING AUTHORITY <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND. <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to the City Council the Capital Improvement <br />Program for FY 2021 through 2025 and the funding for Year One of the Capital Improvement <br />Program; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held to receive public comments on the five -year <br />Capital Improvement Program and on funding for Year One of the Capital Improvement <br />Program. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. The estimated revenues and revenue contributions and the appropriation of funds <br />to finance the Capital Improvement budgets of and for the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, for the <br />period beginning July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2021, be, and the same hereby are, as follows: <br />State Categorical Aid <br />State Funding — VDOT <br />Charges for Services <br />Operating Transfers In <br />Bond Proceeds <br />Total Capital Improvement Fund Revenues <br />Operating Transfer In <br />Total Portsmouth Parking Authority CIP Fund <br />Revenues <br />$675,500 <br />1,275,000 <br />35,000 <br />13,686,500 <br />9,315,313 <br />$24,987,313 <br />$100,000 <br />$100,000 <br />2. That the five -year FY 2021 -2025 Capital Improvement Program is hereby <br />approved with fiscal years 2022 through 2025 being non - appropriated subsequent planning <br />years. <br />3. That the sums of $24,987,313 in the FY 2021 Capital Improvement Fund and <br />$100,000 in the Portsmouth Parking Authority CIP Fund, be, and the same hereby are, <br />appropriated for expenditure in the following categories and amounts to implement the FY 2021- <br />2025 Capital Improvement Program: <br />Drainage and Street Improvements $13,231,000 <br />Education 550,000 <br />
