OEM No---102-0--120 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF AN APPROXIMATELY 400 FOOT <br />SECTION OF CHEMICAL WAY TO LINEAGE WAY. <br />WHEREAS, an application has been filed by Lineage Logistics to change the name of an <br />approximately 400 foot section of Chemical Way to "Lineage Way "; and <br />WHEREAS, the section of Chemical Way to be changed to "Lineage Way" extends <br />from the southern terminus of Progress Avenue westerly to the line of the northern branch of <br />Chemical Way, as shown more particularly on that certain survey titled "Rehabilitation Plans" <br />prepared by Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. and attached hereto as Exhibit A; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia that the approximately 400 foot section of Chemical Way described herein is hereby <br />renamed "Lineage Way ": and <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the name change authorized by this Ordinance is <br />subject to the following conditions to be performed by the applicant: (1) the applicant shall pay <br />all costs associated with the street name change; and (2) all improvements to the area of the <br />street subject to this ordinance shall be consistent with the approved Lineage Cold Storage <br />Facility site plan and the approved rehabilitation plans for Chemical Way. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at an electronic meeting held <br />November 24, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
