ONA 2020-83 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT <br />PROGRAM GRANT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $57,992 FROM THE <br />VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2021 GRANTS FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />L That it hereby accepts Local Emergency Management Program grant funds <br />in the amount of $57,992 from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management and <br />appropriates said amount in the FY 2021 Grants Fund. <br />�. i i►ai ti►e tdud, siiaii be u,cd icy the Departinen► of HI Rescue and <br />3. That a dollar for dollar local match is required as a condition of the grant, <br />which match has previously been appropriated in the FY 2021 Budget for the Department <br />of Fire. Rescue and Emergency Services. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2021 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $57,992. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at an electronic <br />meeting held on September 8, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
