&2020-07 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING STEP -VA OUTPATIENT SUPPLEMENTAL <br />NEEDS -BASED FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $152,895 FROM THE <br />VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND <br />DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE <br />FY 2020 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND FOR USE BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF BHS TO ASSIST WITH OUTPATIENT SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts STEP -VA Outpatient Supplemental Needs - Based <br />Funding in the amount of $152,895 from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health <br />and Developmental Services and appropriates said funds in the FY 2020 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services to build infrastructure for outpatient services, including billing, <br />training and data management. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund are increased by $152,895. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on January 28, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
