RD1NA1 2019 -06 4. <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $56,636 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND <br />DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE <br />FY 2019 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND FOR USE BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF BHS TO PROVIDE PRIMARY CARE SCREENING. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts funding in the amount of $56,636 from the Virginia <br />Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and appropriates said <br />funds in the FY 2019 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Portsmouth Department of Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services to provide primary screening for adults with serious mental illnesses <br />and children diagnosed with serious emotional disturbances. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund are increased by $56,636. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on February 12, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
