AINANCE 2019 -12 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN <br />OPIOID TREATMENT <br />AWARD <br />FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT <br />OF BEHAVIORAL <br />HEALTH <br />AND <br />DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF <br />$171,200 <br />AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS <br />TO THE FY 2019 <br />BEHAVIORAL <br />HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND <br />TO PROVIDE TREATMENT <br />AND <br />RECOVERY SERVICES FOR PORTSMOUTH RESIDENTS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts an opioid treatment award from the Virginia <br />Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services in the amount of $171,200 <br />and appropriates said funds to the FY 2019 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services to provide opioid treatment and recovery services for Portsmouth residents. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the award. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund are increased by $171,200. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on March 12, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
