ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDING IN THE NET AMOUNT OF <br />$128,995 AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2020 GRANTS <br />FUND BUDGET FOR THE PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts grant funding in the net amount of $128,995 and <br />appropriates said funds in the FY 2020 Grants Fund Budget for the Portsmouth Public <br />Schools. <br />2. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Portsmouth <br />Public Schools Grants Fund budget are increased by S 1 28,995. <br />3. That the revised funding appropriation for the FY 2020 Portsmouth Public <br />Schools Grants Fund budget is as shown on Exhibit A. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 12, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
