w T <br />llala - Ali- <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $317,460 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2020 GRANTS FUND BUDGET <br />FOR THE PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts funding in the amount of $317,460 from the <br />Virginia Department of Education and appropriates said funds in the FY 2020 Grants <br />Fund Budget for the Portsmouth Public Schools. <br />2. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Portsmouth <br />Public Schools Grants Fund budget are increased by $317,460. <br />3. That the revised funding appropriation for the FY 2020 Portsmouth Public <br />Schools Grants Fund budget is as shown on Exhibit A. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 22, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
