n W N.- LIL-f- <br />AN ORDINANCE TO RE- APPROPRIATE UNEXPENDED FUNDS FROM THE <br />FY 2019 PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS GRANTS FUND BUDGET IN THE <br />TOTAL AMOUNT OF $266,593 TO THE FY 2020 PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC <br />SCHOOLS GRANTS FUND BUDGET. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it appropriates the sum of $266,593 into the FY 2020 Grants Fund <br />Budget for the Portsmouth Public Schools. <br />2. That the source of the appropriation is: (a) prefunded state grant money in <br />the amount of $52,476 which was appropriated into the FY 2019 Portsmouth Public <br />Schools Grants Fund budget and encumbered but not expended; and (b) prefunded state <br />grant money in the amount of S214,117 which was appropriated into the FY 2019 <br />Portsmouth Public Schools Grants Fund budget and neither encumbered nor expended. <br />3. That the estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Portsmouth <br />Public Schools Grants Fund budget are increased by $266,593. <br />4. That the revised funding appropriation for the FY 2020 Portsmouth Public <br />Schools Grants Fund budget is as shown on Exhibit A hereto. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 22, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
