jjft'20119 -65 <br />U <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $330,296.78 <br />FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2020 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION & TOURISM FOR THE USDA <br />SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $330,296.78 from the U.S. <br />Department of Agriculture and appropriates said amount in the FY 2020 Grants Fund for <br />use by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism for the USDA Summer Food <br />Service Program. <br />2. That the grant is a reimbursement grant, and no City cash match is required. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $330,296.78. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 10, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
