201 -31 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE A TECHNICAL AMENDMENT TO APPENDIX A <br />OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006) TO <br />REFLECT THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF <br />CHESAPEAKE IN 2017 FOR THE PROVISION OF WATER AND TO AMEND <br />APPENDIX A TO ELIMINATE THE CURRENT CHARGE FOR AMBULANCE <br />BILLING — IV SUPPLIES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That Appendix A of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) is <br />hereby amended to reflect the execution of a contract with the City of Chesapeake in 2017 <br />for the provision of water, as shown in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof. <br />2. That Appendix A of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) is <br />hereby amended to eliminate the current charge for Ambulance Billing — IV Supplies, as <br />shown in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2018. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on May 8, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
