W 119MA 2018 -07 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,544 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2018 GRANTS FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE PORTSMOUTH COMMUNITY CRIMINAL JUSTICE BOARD TO <br />CONDUCT COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $19,544 from the <br />Department of Criminal Justice Services and appropriates said amount in the FY 2018 <br />Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Portsmouth Community <br />Criminal Justice Board to conduct comprehensive planning. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2018 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $19,544. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on January 23, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
