InINANCE NO 018 -115 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN SUBSECTION 40.1- 6.4(D) OF <br />THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006) <br />(NONCONFORMING LOTS/LOT CONSOLIDATION) FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />EXEMPTING EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES FROM CERTAIN <br />LOT CONSOLIDATION REQUIREMENTS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That Subsection 40.1- 6.4(D) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia (2006) be amended and reordained as shown on Exhibit A hereto for the purpose <br />of exempting single family residences from certain lot consolidation requirements. <br />2. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately on the date of its <br />adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting <br />held on December 11, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
