AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN SECTION 40.1 -8.3 OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006) (DEFINITIONS) <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCLUDING REAL ESTATE BROKER AND AGENT <br />OFFICES WITHIN THE DEFINITION OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />OFFICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That Section 40.1 -8.3 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />(2006) be amended and reordained by amending the definitions of "Professional Services <br />Offices" and "Sales Offices" as shown on Exhibit A hereto. <br />2. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately on the date of its <br />adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting <br />held on November 27, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
