ORDINANCE N0,,.o.!t <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AID TO LOCALITIES FUNDS IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $330,675 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF FIRE <br />PROGRAMS AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2019 GRANTS <br />FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND <br />EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Aid to Localities funds in the amount of $330,675 <br />from the Virginia Department of Fire Programs and appropriates said sum in the FY 2019 <br />Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue <br />and Emergency Services to support fire and emergency services in the City. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $330,675. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 23, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
