ORDINAW 2018 -98 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO RE- APPROPRIATE ENCUMBERED BUT UNEXPENDED <br />FUNDS FROM THE FY 2018 PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS (PPS) <br />GENERAL FUND BUDGET IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $604,930 TO THE <br />FY 2019 PPS GENERAL FUND BUDGET. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it appropriates the sum of $604,930 to the FY 2019 Portsmouth <br />Public Schools General Fund budget. <br />2. That the source of the appropriation is $604,930 appropriated by the City <br />to the FY 2017 Portsmouth Public Schools General Fund which was encumbered but not <br />expended prior to June 30, 2018. <br />3. That the estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Portsmouth <br />Public Schools General Fund operating budget are increased by $604,930 to a total of <br />$146,486,981. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 9, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
