AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,653,636 TO THE JAMES HURST <br />ELEMENTARY AND CHURCHLAND PRIMARY AND INTERMEDIATE <br />ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS CLASSROOMS PROJECT IN THE EDUCATION <br />CATEGORY OF THE FY 2019 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BUDGET. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby appropriates $1,653,636 to the James Hurst Elementary and <br />Churchland Primary and Intermediate Elementary Schools Classroom project in the <br />Education category of the FY 2019 Capital Improvement Fund budget. <br />2. That the source of the funding is $1,653,636 appropriated to the FY 2018 <br />Portsmouth Public Schools General Fund budget which was not encumbered during FY <br />2018. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Capital <br />Improvement Fund are increased by $1,653,636. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 9, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
