ORMA 2 . <br />AN ORDINANCE TO RE- APPROPRIATE UNEXPENDED FUNDS FROM THE <br />FY 2017 PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS TEXTBOOK FUND BUDGET IN <br />THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $2,565,162 INTO THE OVERALL AND FIRST <br />QUARTER FY 2018 TEXTBOOK FUND BUDGET FOR THE PORTSMOUTH <br />PUBLIC SCHOOLS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it appropriates the sum of $2,565,162 into the overall and First <br />Quarter FY 2018 Textbook Fund budget for the Portsmouth Public Schools. <br />2. That the source of the appropriation is funds appropriated by the City to <br />the FY 2017 Textbook Fund budget which were not expended prior to June 30, 2017. <br />3. That the estimated revenues and expenditures in the overall and First <br />Quarter FY 2017 Portsmouth Public Schools Textbook Fund budget are increased by <br />$2,565,162. <br />4. That the revised overall and First Quarter funding appropriations for the <br />FY 2018 Portsmouth Public Schools Textbook Fund budget are as shown on Exhibit A <br />hereto. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 12, 2017. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
