P° � 201 - 7-56- <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $109,650 <br />FROM THE PORT OF VIRGINIA AID TO LOCAL PORTS PROGRAM AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE MUNICIPAL FACILITIES <br />CATEGORY OF THE FY 2018 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE <br />PORTSIDE PROJECT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $109,650 from the Port of <br />Virginia Aid to Local Ports Program and appropriates said amount in the Municipal <br />Facilities category of the FY 2018 Capital Improvement Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used to fund a portion of the Portside project. <br />3. That a 25 percent local match is required as a condition of the funding, <br />which match has previously been appropriated as part of the FY 2018 Capital <br />Improvement Fund budget. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the Municipal Facilities <br />category of the FY 2018 Capital Improvement Fund budget are increased by $109,650. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 11, 2017. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
