<br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE FY 2017 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM BUDGET BY AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $500,000 FROM <br />THE 801 WATER STREET PROJECT TO THE "RENOVATIONS TO VARIOUS <br />BUILDINGS" CATEGORY TO FUND THE RELOCATION OF THE <br />MAGISTRATE AND POLICE ROLL CALL OFFICES, THE TRANSFER OF <br />$109,000 FROM THE 801 WATER STREET PROJECT TO THE IT COMPUTER <br />ROOM PROJECT, AND THE TRANSFER OF $50,214 FROM THE <br />PORTSMOUTH COMMUNITY COLORED LIBRARY MUSEUM (PCCLM) <br />ADA RAMP PROJECT TO FUND OTHER PCCLM BUILDING AND SITE <br />IMPROVEMENTS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby authorizes the transfer of $609,000 from the 801 Water <br />Street Project in the FY 2017 Capital Improvement Program Budget. <br />2. That of the funds so transferred, $500,000 is appropriated in the FY 2017 <br />Capital Improvement Program Budget to the "Renovations to Various Buildings" <br />category to fund the relocation of the Magistrate and Police Roll Call Offices within the <br />former Courts Complex on Crawford Street. <br />3. That of the funds so transferred, $109,000 is appropriated in the FY 2017 <br />Capital Improvement Program Budget for the IT Computer Room Project. <br />4. That it hereby authorizes the transfer of $50,214 from the Portsmouth <br />Community Colored Library Museum (PCCLM) ADA Ramp Project in the FY 2017 <br />Capital Improvement Program Budget. <br />5. That the $50,214 so transferred is appropriated in the FY 2017 Capital <br />Improvement Program Budget to fund PCCLM Building and Site Improvements, <br />including work adjacent to and supporting the PCCLM ramp and entrance. <br />6. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on December 13, 2016. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
