s.~~~s 20r <br />3 44~ 5 ~.7 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $43,290,029 BY CLASSIFICATION TO <br />IMPLEMENT THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC <br />SCHOOLS FOR THE SECOND QUARTER OF FISCAL YEAR 2017. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. In order to provide the funding for the second quarter of the Portsmouth <br />Public Schools' Fiscal Year 2017 Operating Budget, that the sum of $43,290,029 be, and the <br />same hereby is, appropriated to the following classifications to fund the second quarter of <br />the Fiscal Year 2017 which begins on October 1, 2016 and ends on December 31, 2016: <br />General Fund: <br />Instruction $26,616,701 <br />Administration, Attendance, and Health 2,047,878 <br />Pupil Transportation 1,601,154 <br />Operation and Maintenance 3,762,735 <br />Debt and Fund Transfers 587,675 <br />Technology 1,271,733 <br />Total General Fund $35,887,876 <br />Other Funds: <br />Food Services Fund: <br />School Food Service and Other Non-Instructional <br />Operations <br />$2,105,025 <br />Total Food Services Fund: $2,105,025 <br />Risk Management Fund: <br />Workmen's Comp Insurance Premium <br />Workmen's Comp and Claims <br />Self-Health Plan Expenses <br />$243,815 <br />112,485 <br />4,557,718 <br />Total Risk Management Fund: $4,914,018 <br />Textbook Fund: <br />Instruction <br />$383,110 <br />Total Textbook Fund: <br />Total Expenditures: <br />$383,110 <br />$43,290,029 <br />2.
