<br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FISCAL YEAR 2016 - 2017 OPERATING
<br />BUDGET FOR THE PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM IN THE
<br />AMOUNT OF $191,810,233 AND APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUNDS
<br />BY CLASSIFICATIONS TO IMPLEMENT (1) THE GRANT FUND CATEGORY
<br />OF SAID BUDGET FOR THE ENTIRETY OF FISCAL YEAR 2016 - 2017 AND
<br />(2) THE REMAINDER OF SAID BUDGET FOR THE FIRST QUARTER OF
<br />FISCAL YEAR 2016 - 2017.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia:
<br />1. The Fiscal Year 2016 - 2017 Operating Budget in the amount of $191,810,233 for
<br />the Portsmouth Public Schools is hereby approved in the following revenue and expenditure
<br />classifications:
