2015,36 <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 14 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006) AND ADOPTING A NEW CHAPTER 14.1 <br />PERTAINING TO FLOOD PROTECTION. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That Chapter 14 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006), entitled <br />"Flood Protection," is hereby repealed. <br />2. That a new Chapter 14.1 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006), <br />entitled "Flood Protection," is hereby adopted in the form attached as Exhibit A and made a part <br />hereof. <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on August 3, 2015. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on June <br />9, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
