2015- 74 ,, <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $302,787 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF FIRE PROGRAMS AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2015-16 GRANTS FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE, AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts $302,787 in .Aid to Localities funds from the <br />Virginia Department of Fire Programs and appropriates said sum in the FY 2015-16 <br />Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue, <br />and Emergency Services to support fire and emergency services in the City. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2015-16 Grants Fund <br />are increased by $302,787. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 10, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
