2015-57 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF $560,000 IN THE ADMINISTRATION, ATTENDANCE & HEALTH .CLASSIFICATION OF THE FY 2015-16 PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS GENERAL FUND, THE SUM OF $216,526 IN THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE CLASSIFICATION OF THE FY 2015-16 PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS GENERAL FUND, AND THE SUM OF $12,223 IN THE 2015-16 PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS TEXTBOOK FUND, WITH ALL OF THE SAID SUMS BEING APPROPRIATED TO FUND THE FIRST QUARTER OF FY 2015-16. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That it appropriates the sum of $560,000 in the Administration, Attendance & Health classification of the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools General Fund. 2. That it appropriates the sum of $216,526 in the Operation and Maintenance classification of the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools General Fund. 3. That it appropriates the sum of $12,223 in the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools Textbook Fund. 4. That all of the foregoing sums are appropriated to fund the First Quarter of FY 2015-16. 5. That the source of the appropriations to the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools General Fund is a health insurance rebate received by the School Board of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia during FY 2014-15. 6. That the source of the appropriation to the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools Textbook Fund is funding from the Commonwealth of Virginia received by the School Board of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia during FY 2014-15. 7. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the Administration, Attendance & Health classification of the overall and First Quarter FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools General Fund Operating Budget are increased by $560,000. 8. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the Operation and Maintenance classification of the overall and First Quarter FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools General Fund Operating Budget are increased by $216,526. 9. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the Instruction classification of the overall and First Quarter FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools Textbook Fund Budget are increased by $12,223.
