~'~ <br />201¢:5 47 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $513,722.57 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2015-16 GRANTS FUND FOR THE SUMMER FOOD <br />SERVICE PROGRAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $513,722.57 from the <br />Virginia Department of Health and appropriates said amount in the FY 2015-16 Grants <br />Fund for use by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services for the USDA <br />Summer Food Service Program. <br />2. That the grant is a reimbursement grant, and no City cash match is <br />required. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2015-16 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $513,722.57. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 28, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
