R-15-26 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR AN ALLOCATION OF <br />FUNDS THROUGH THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />FISCAL YEAR 2017 REVENUE SHARING PROGRAM FOR THE <br />REPLACEMENT OF THE CHURCHLAND BRIDGE (NORTHBOUND LANES) <br />PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth desires to submit an application for an <br />allocation of $1,400,0000 in funding through the Virginia Department of Transportation <br />Fiscal Year 2017 Revenue Sharing Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the funds are requested for the Replacement of the Churchland <br />Bridge (Northbound Lanes) project; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia that it hereby supports the application for an allocation of <br />$1,400,000 through the Virginia Department of Transportation Fiscal Year 2017 Revenue <br />Sharing Program. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager or her designee is <br />authorized to execute project administration agreements for any approved revenue <br />sharing projects. <br />ADOPTED by the' Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 24, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
