.~~ .. ~ 014 - 4 2 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $25,200 IN THE FY 2013-14 GRANTS <br />FUND FROM THE NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION <br />FOR AN OUT-OF-SCHOOL TIME PROGRAMS GRANT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $25,200 from the National <br />Recreation and Park Association and appropriates said funds in the FY 2013-14 Grants <br />Fund. <br />2. That the grant funds will used by the Department of Parks, Recreation, and <br />Leisure Services to increase the number of healthy meals for low-income community <br />children through the Summer Food Service Program and the Child and Adult Care Food <br />Program during out-of-school times. <br />3. That no local cash match is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2013-14 Grants Fund-and the FY <br />2013-14 Operating Budget are increased by $25,200. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on May 27, 2014. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
