<br /> <br />2013-1b <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $575,910 IN ADDITIONAL REVENUE <br />AND $1,421,512 IN ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURES IN THE FY 2012-13 <br />GENERAL FUND AND TO APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURES <br />OF $700,000 IN THE FY 2012-13 HEALTH INSURANCE FUND. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City ofPortsmouth,Yirginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of$575,91O in the FY 2012-13 <br />General Fund in additional revenues received from the following sources: <br /> <br />General Assembly funding for Virginia Sports <br />Hall of Fame <br />Police Mutual Aid Agreement support <br />FEMA Emergency Response Reimbursement <br />(Hurricane Sandy) <br /> <br />$500,000 <br />33,463 <br /> <br />Total Additional Revenues <br /> <br />42.447 <br />$575,910 <br /> <br />2. That it authorizes the transfer of $845,602 from the FY 2012-13 <br />Undesignated Fund Balance to the FY 2012-13 General Fund, appropriates said sum in <br />the FY2012-13 General Fund, and authorizes the following additional FY 2012-13 <br />General Fund expenditures: <br /> <br />Sports Hall of Fame <br />Police staff travel costs <br />Hurricane Sandy Fire Department overtime <br />Debt service costs <br />Constitutional Office's adjustments: <br />Commissioner of Revenue <br />Commonwealth's Attorney <br />City Treasurer <br />City Registrar <br />HER Shelter <br /> <br />$500,000 <br />516 <br />24,617 <br />652,000 <br /> <br />Total Additional Expenditures <br /> <br />34,573 <br />100,066 <br />39,440 <br />60,000 <br />9.800 <br /> <br />$1,421,512 <br /> <br />3. That it hereby authorizes the transfer of $700,000 from the FY 2012-13 <br />Health Insurance Fund undesignated fund balance and appropriates said amount in the <br />FY 2012-13 Health Insurance Fund to cover increased and unbudgeted health insurance <br />costs. <br /> <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2012-13 General Fund are increased by <br />$575,910, and in the FY 2012-13 Health Insurance Fund by $700,000. <br /> <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />
