<br /> <br />R-13-46 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A <br />DEED OF CONVEYANCE TO THE VIRGINIA PORT AUTHORITY FOR LOT <br />216 IN PINNERS POINT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in the 1970's and again in 2006, the City attempted to convey title <br />to the Virginia Port Authority of all City-owned properties in Pinners Point; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lot 216 on the Plat of Pinners Point Land Company was not <br />conveyed and remains in the name of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has no need for continued ownership of Lot 216 which <br />should have been conveyed to VP A previously. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute a <br />deed of conveyance and such other documents as may be necessary to convey to the <br />Virginia Port Authority the property identified as Lot 216 on the Plat of the Pinners Point <br />Land Company. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on September 24, 2013. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
