<br />R-12-47 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR AN ALLOCATION OF <br />FUNDS THROUGH THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />FISCAL YEAR 2014 REVENUE SHARING PROGRAM FOR THE <br />CHURCHLAND BRIDGE (SOUTHBOUND LANES) PROJECT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City of Portsmouth desires to submit an application for an <br />allocation of funds up to $250,000 through the Virginia Department of Transportation <br />Fiscal Year 2014 Revenue Sharing Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, $250,000 of these funds are requested to fund the Churchland <br />Bridge (Southbound Lanes) Rehabilitation project; and ' <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia that it hereby supports the application for an allocation of $250,000 <br />through the Virginia Department of Transportation Revenue Sharing Program. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager or his designee is <br />authorized to execute project administration agreements for any approved revenue <br />sharing projects. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 27,2012. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />I <br />J <br />
