<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2012-50 <br /> <br />ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-12-03 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council ofthe City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City <br />of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Neighborhood Mixed Use NMU, <br />Urban Residential-HighURH, and General Residential GR, the property described in <br />Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-12-03, is hereby amended and changed so as <br />to show said property zoned as Urban Residential-High URH-K (Conditional) and that <br />said property is hereby zoned as Urban Residential-High URH-K (Conditional). <br /> <br />2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being zoned from <br />Neighborhood Mixed Use NMU, Urban Residential-High URH, and General Residential <br />GR to Urban Residential-High URH-K (Conditional) is further described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-12-03 <br />Tax Map 99, Parcels 26-30, 33-38, and 42-43 <br /> <br />Beginning at a point at the northwestern comer of the <br />intersection of Godwin Street and South Street, running <br />approximately south west 440 feet to the intersection of <br />South Street and Richmond Avenue, then running north <br />287 feet to the comer of Richmond A venue and Clifford <br />Street, then running east 456 feet to the intersection of <br />Clifford Street and Godwin Street, and then running 137 <br />feet to the point of beginning; and consisting of the entire <br />block bounded by Godwin, South and Clifford Streets and <br />Richmond Avenue, containing approximately 1.44 acres. <br /> <br />3. That the subject property shall be subject to the following additional <br />conditions as proffered by the applicant: <br /> <br />(a) The site will be developed in substantial conformance with the concept <br />plan titled "Preliminary Layout Alternate 1 for Duplex Cottage Homes At <br />Godwin & South Streets For PRHA," prepared by Horton and Dodd, PC <br />dated 9-16-2011 on filed in the City of Portsmouth Planning Department. <br />The development may be subject to modifications necessary during the <br />detailed site plan review. <br /> <br />(b) The maximum number of homes to be developed on this site is sixteen <br />(16). <br /> <br />(c) The buildings to be constructed on this site will be in substantial <br />conformance to the floor plans and elevations submitted with this rezoning <br />application as exhibited on a plan sheet titled "building Plans and <br />Elevations for Duplex Cottage Homes at Godwin & South Streets for <br />PRHA," dated 9-16-11 on file in the City of Portsmouth Planning <br />Department.
