<br />ORDINANCE NO.?- 0 11- ~ 8_ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE IN THE FY 2011-12 SOCIAL SERVICES FUND THE SUM <br />OF $9,831 AWARDED TO THE PORTSMOUTH DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES BY <br />THE UNITED WAY OF SOUTH HAMPTON ROADS TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY SHELTER <br />ASSISTANCE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $9,831 in the FY 2011-12 Social Services Fund to <br />be used to provide emergency shelter assistance <br /> <br />2. That the source of said funds is an award to the Portsmouth Department of Social Services <br />by the United Way of South Hampton Roads for such purpose. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2011-12 Social Services Fund are increased by $9,831. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council ofthe City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on September <br />13,2011. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
