<br />\1> <br /> <br />Engineer or Surveyor's Certificate <br /> <br />I hereby certifY that, to the best of my knowledge or belief, this plat complies with all of <br />the requirements of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, regarding the platting of <br />subdivisions within the City. <br /> <br />Date <br /> <br />Name <br /> <br />Name printed <br /> <br />(r) Certificate of approval as follows: <br /> <br />Certificate of Approval <br /> <br />This subdivision is approved by the undersigned in accordance with existing subdivision <br />regulations and may be admitted to record. <br /> <br />Date Director of Planning <br /> <br />Date City Engineer <br /> <br />(s) If the subdivided property contains wetlands and/or resource protection areas, there shall be a <br />note on the plat which states the following: <br /> <br />"Wetlands and land within resource protection areas and associated buffers shall remain <br />in a natural undisturbed state except for those activities permitted by Chapter 9.1 of the <br />City of Portsmouth City Code." <br /> <br />(t) The plat shall include the following note: <br /> <br />"Unless otherwise noted, all drainage easements designated on this plat shaH remain <br />private." <br /> <br />(u) If the streets are to be private, the plat shall include a private streets declaration in accordance <br />with section 33.1-19. <br /> <br />(v) If any exceptions have been granted by the Planning Commission in accordance with section <br />33.1-23, the plat shall include a note detailing any exception so granted. <br /> <br />(w) In addition to the above requirements, a digital copy of the subdivision plat in a format <br />approved by the city surveyor shall be submitted for any major subdivision. <br /> <br />Page 21 of 33 <br />
